Educational opportunities at the National Academy of the Security Service of Ukraine

The National Academy of the Security Service of Ukraine provides educational opportunities for representatives of the security and defense sector.

In 2024, the interagency educational platform “Cooperation for Victory” was launched for both civilian and military components of the state sector.

Academy faculty have developed 15 certificate programs on current security issues, including counterterrorism, negotiation practices, critical infrastructure protection, OSINT, operational psychology, and more. To view the full list of programs, click “Learn More.”

The Academy offers post-graduate and doctoral training leading to the degrees of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and Doctor of Sciences in the fields of law, education, psychology, and linguistics.

The Center for Strategic Communications of the National Academy of the Security Service of Ukraine was established in 2021. Its creation marked the outcome of years of work by the Academy’s experts in the field of strategic communications.

Our mission:
    •    to provide academic and educational support for the training of SBU personnel and representatives of the security and defense sector in strategic communications;
    •    to develop proactive technologies for countering information and psychological threats originating from the Russian Federation;
    •    to unite the efforts of professionals in resisting Russian aggression.
