Research and Organizational Center

The Research and Organizational Center is a key structural unit of the National Academy of the Security Service of Ukraine, conducting research and organizational activities to ensure the effective fulfillment of the SSU’s tasks in safeguarding state security and supporting the educational process at the Academy.

Key tasks of the Center are as follows:

• conducting scientific research on issues related to the operational-service activities of the SSU and the provision of state security in Ukraine;
• organizing, coordinating, analyzing, and controlling research at the Academy, facilitating the implementation of research results into the practical activities of the SSU bodies and the educational process;
• providing information and analytical support for the SSU’s operational and service activities;
• performing scientific expertise of draft legislative and regulatory acts in the field of state security, research results, plans, and programs;
• training highly qualified research-related personnel;
• organizing and holding scientific forums and events;
• establishing effective interaction with the SSU bodies and units in the field of scientific activity; promoting cooperation with leading higher education institutions and research organizations in Ukraine.

Staff members of the Research and Organizational Center also participate in the development of research projects commissioned by the SSU operational units and government authorities.
