Steps to Become a Student of the SSU Academy

Peculiarities of Studying

The Educational and Research Institute of Information Security and Strategic Communications is a subdivision of the National Academy of the Security Service of Ukraine that trains future experts in the fields of information and cyber security, as well as state secrets protection, funded by individuals and legal entities.

Peculiarities of Student Training at the National Academy of the SSU:

• relevant labor-market specialties focused on information security protection;
• full-time and part-time study options available;
• the opportunity to independently choose courses from the list, amounting to at least 25% of the total ECTS credits;
• instructors are experienced educators and researchers of the SSU Academy, many of whom are former operational officers of the Ukrainian Security Service;
• the best students may be recommended for internships and military service in the SSU bodies and units;
• the opportunity to undergo reserve officer training, with the awarding of the military rank ‘Junior (1st) Lieutenant of the Reserve’.
